Golden Style Review welcomes pitches that help readers see personal style with greater curiosity and care. Send proposals through the Contact page; please do not send a completed article unless we have agreed to review one.

What we welcome

We consider original ideas about clothing, colour, grooming, style history and self-expression. A strong contribution might explain a specific visual detail, compare choices without declaring a universal winner, or explore how a custom or object acquired its meaning. We welcome thoughtful perspectives that recognise varied tastes and experiences.

Make the pitch specific

Tell us the central question, the reader it would serve and what the piece would help them notice or decide. Include a proposed working title, a short outline and a brief account of relevant experience or perspective. Say whether the idea has been published or offered elsewhere.

What to leave out

We are not looking for product roundups built around unsupported claims, disguised advertising, copied work or rigid rules about how people should look. Avoid claims that require professional advice or promise a particular result. We may ask questions or suggest a narrower focus before considering a proposal.

How to send it

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Include a way for us to reply, but do not send private information beyond what is needed to discuss your proposal. A pitch is a proposal, not a guarantee of publication.
